Seasonal pricing

Seasonal pricing lets merchants change rental pricing for specific date ranges without creating duplicate products.

Use it for:

  • peak season;
  • public holidays;
  • school breaks;
  • event weeks;
  • weekend demand;
  • low-season discounts.

Seasonal pricing rules sit on top of the rental product’s normal pricing.

When a customer selects rental dates, Rentshelf checks whether those dates overlap an active seasonal pricing rule and updates the storefront quote.

  1. Open Rentshelf → Products.
  2. Choose the rental product you want to edit.
  3. Find the Seasonal pricing area in the product pricing settings.
  4. Add a rule name, start date, end date and pricing adjustment.
  5. Save the rental product.
  6. Test the storefront by choosing dates inside and outside the seasonal period.

Seasonal pricing is available on Starter and Growth.

Use Growth when the store combines seasonal pricing with a larger rental catalog, longer booking windows, multiple locations or priority operational support.
