Rentshelf sends automated emails to your customers at key points in the rental lifecycle.
What’s sent today

The “Planned” emails rely on the Reminder job queue (already wired into the data model) — they’ll be enabled once template customization is shipped.
What you can customize today
Section titled “What you can customize today”- Order confirmation email (Shopify) — edit in Shopify admin → Settings → Notifications → Order confirmation. Rental line-item properties (pickup, return, duration) render automatically inside Shopify’s default template.
- Order cancellation email (Shopify) — same location.
What’s coming
Section titled “What’s coming”- Custom email templates per reminder type (pickup, return, overdue).
- Staff Slack notifications on new bookings.
- SMS reminders via Twilio.
